For the first time in a full-length documentary, farmers tell their stories and experts reveal how the corporate agricultural production model pits farmer against farmer. Join us as we travel across the American South and to Southern India to understand what’s happening to farmers living under contract and what we can do to change our food system for the better.
Rural Advancement Foundation International (RAFI) seeks a talented individual to significantly increase the ability of rural North Carolina farmers’ markets and other direct market farm outlets to serve low-wealth communities, and to evaluate the potential and limitations of SNAP/WIC at farmers’ markets as a market-based food access solution. The Program Coordinator will work under the supervision of the project manager of Beyond Hunger Relief, a broader initiative to identify and develop market-based solutions to food access in rural areas.
“RAFI is 100% in line with Farm Hack’s mission to get the best farming practices and knowledge into the public domain, and to create a food system that produces the kind of food we collectively want to eat, that we can trust, and that supports a resilient agricultural system,” said Farm Hack Co-Founder Dorn Cox.
