Lindley Dairy – Delete

Our Tobacco Communities Reinvestment Fund helps farmers stay on the land, successfully grow their businesses, and strengthen rural economies. In exchange, the farmers receiving RAFI grants give back to their farming communities by sharing their project ideas and lessons learned. Drawing on almost two decades of experience from our grant program, we started the Growing Innovation Online Library to highlight some of the best examples of farmer-driven innovation in agriculture.

Growing Innovation: Lindley Creamery

In 2012, Ann and Janice were awarded a Rural Advancement Foundation International (RAFI) grant to turn their cows’ milk into a mozzarella cheesecake enterprise.

We extend our thanks to the Tobacco Trust Fund Commission for their dedication to family farmers and for their invaluable support of our program.
